This vintage ladies' writing desk in the Queen Anne Style, featuring gracefully slender cabriole legs, has undergone a meticulous refurbishment, breathing new life into its timeless elegance.
This drop leaf writing bureau has been revitalised with a thorough cleaning, sanding, three coats of Fusion midnight blue paint, and decoupaged with enchanting blue Verbena Kew Gardens cotton fabric.
Fabric decoupage doesn't just boast a stunning appearance, it is also exceptionally durable, captures and reflects light beautifully, and stands the test of time.
The burr walnut wood on the drawers and pull down door has been treated with Osmo oil to reveal its natural beauty. Both drawers and the pull down desk door are lockable and come complete with their original locks and the main desk opens to reveal letter slots and a convenient little drawer.
The whole piece has been further enhanced with three coats of premium satin varnish.
